Lifestyle choices such as maintaining a healthy weight, regular physical activity, and eating well-balanced meals give us the strength and vitality we need for work, play, and all the areas in between.
This is a unique weight loss system that
combines fitness, nutrition, and behavioral
modification techniques to get you at a healthy,
manageable weight.
Bi-weekly education and support group
sessions address lifestyle habits, the
psychology of weight gain, stress, goal setting,
emotional eating, and motivation; and exercise
classes, which can be attended up to three
times weekly, help you get fit and help you stay
accountable to a consistent workout routine.
No diets or deprivation, but you will master
the tools of dietary management, physical
activity, behavioral change, and environmental
control to create a new, active lifestyle with
controlled eating and healthy weight
maintenance. There will also be a grocery
shopping field trip and a healthy recipe
pot-luck class. Optional weekly weigh-ins,
body fat, and fitness assessment testing are
also included.
Lifestyle classes meet Monday evenings
5:30-6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 for
lecture and group discussions. Optional fitness
classes meet Tue/Thur. 6:30-8:00 p.m., and
